Diversity of Members
The members are a diverse group representing:
Business (General, Recycling, and Special Waste related)
General business that includes manufacturing, retail, service, and consulting; business directly involved in the collection, processing or use of recycled materials; and business that provide services for the management of special waste.
Education (College/University and Elementary/Secondary)
Public and private institutions of education
Government: State or local government, or government agency
Non-Profit: Environmental education and advocacy organizations, community improvement organizations and other not-for-profit associations
Individual: Environmental advocates, teachers, and interested citizens
Associate: Associate members must be affiliated with a business or organization that holds a primary membership in another category, except for Individual.
All Members are voting members of the Association of Ohio Recyclers and receive all of the member benefits. Members may bring issues before the Board of Trustees at regularly scheduled meetings. All members are encouraged to participate on committees such as Membership/Public Relations, Conference/Tours, Legislative/Policy and/or Ohio Materials Exchange.
